As some of you may know, I have had a rough past month. Four injuries, a car accident, the passing of a life-long K-family mentor, changing workplaces, and the joys of being a student again would sum up October nicely for me.
One thing that did go right is softball, where I hit the walk-off/run-off home run to run our division championship.
Circle K information will start flowing once again, and information will get updated. I apologize for the lack of updates for my electronic media, such as the websites and the blog. It'll take a bit to get back into the swing of things.
My main time consumer: International Marketing, where I have to come up with a legitimate, practical international marketing proposal for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, in a Donald Trump-esque Apprentice Project Manager position. We'll see how that goes.

Blog is back again!
Hey everyone! Sorry for the long pause in posting. I am quite sure you have all had the experience of trying to remember a vast load of usernames and passwords, to no avail.
Fall Training Conference is fast approaching! It is October 2 to October 4 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I hope to see you all there!
As well, the Governor's Gavel will be released soon. My part is all typed out, but I am waiting for one more part to be submitted.

Europe!
Hey everyone!
I am in Europe right now and I am having a blast. I have not forgotten my duties to CKI, and I have been hard at work planning FTC, DCON, and club building. The Governor's Gavel will be released once the information for FTC is finalized, which should be within the next few days. Have a good one!

Governor's Gavel in the works!

I know my Governor's Gavel has not been updated recently, but a new one is in the works. New editions of the Governor's Gavel will have some small Trainer items in them from now on, on page 2, making the newsletter a total of 3 pages. This newsletter will have updates from LSSP and ICON, as well as some intriguing information.
I hope you all download the new Governor's Gavel once it comes out. August 15th is the latest date it will be published.

Some of my last posts did not work, I guess...
Hey y'all!
I am in Birmingham, Alabama at the Circle K International Convention, and so far it has been a blast. I have been very busy promoting the district to the other ones out there, and helping us attain our goals.
I am guessing some of my previous posts had not been published, as I am sure I have posted other information on here since the 29th of June.
Anyway, the University of Manitoba did not place in the top 3 club websites for Circle K at this year's convention, but at least it has been a major improvement from the past ones.
Our new International President will be Jason Stewart. VP, and our sub-regional rep will be voted on in about 9 hours time. Keep you posted!

The WECAN Governor has been found!
Hey guys!
I've been busy with my summer courses for most of this month. Now that two of the in-class ones are over, I can spend a lot more time on Circle K stuff on my off-days from work.
If you have e-mailed me in the past... week and a half, and if I have not responded, I will respond to your e-mail in the next 48 hours. I have 150 e-mails to search through at this time.
The Governor's Gavel is expected to be released either on Tuesday or Wednesday, dependent on when information is available.
